Introduction & Characters
TIC-EOS-20 2*FE/2*STM-1 Interface Converter is cored on SDH technology, provides broadband IP access business, and is business-oriented applications, broadband data access switching equipment. It is used to the interface converter between the Ethernet Access Network and the SDH bearer network.
It provides two STM-1 electrical interfaces, giving the protection of one plus one. One route electrical Ethernet +one 100BASE-FX optical interface. The two Ethernet interfaces works in the share pattern, mapping in a VCG through a MII interface.
It provides data protection operations with the quality of voice-grade, whole modular structure. The STM-1 interface and Ethernet interface can be transformed arbitrary between the optical interface & optical interfaces.
Technical Features
Providing two STM-1(electrical) interfaces and one FE (optical)+ one FE (electrical). All the interfaces support hot-swapping and easy to maintain and replace.
Mapping a VCG through a MII interface (the default, including all 63 VC-12). Carring GFP (GEP-F) package 100M Ethernet.
Modular machine design, compact structure (using 19-inch 1U structure), can be placed on desktop or installed in rack or cabinet.
Supporting IEEE 802.3 and IEEE802.3u.
Supporting the VC-12 mapping and VC12 virtual concatenation and LCAS Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme.
Default rate of 63 ¡Á 2M. Adjust the bandwidth through console interface by the particles of 2M.
Supporting VLAN TRUNK Transparent transmission.
Memory length of MAC address less than 5 minutes.
Memory quantities of MAC address more than 1k.
Supporting the largest frame of 1916 byte
Ethernet interface works in exchange mode, sharing VCG MII interface connected to SE0171 through internal.
