System Introduction£º
TIC-OLP6300 series of products light switches are important equipment in fiber optical communication system£¬mainly used for backup switching in two way or multiple lights propagation. When there is failure in main optical channel, it can automatically switch to backup channel, maintaining the normal operation of the system.
The whole TIC-OLP6300 system consists two parts: OLP fiber optical line protection equipment(1U rack) and network management software. The former is mainly responsible for the connection of the main optical fiber, which can work independently on network management and can realize the fast optical fiber switch, LCD display and alarm report.
The latter is mainly running on the terminal computer, managing the OLP fiber optical protection equipment through the telecom DCN interface. Network management software need to realize the following functions: manage OLP optical fiber protection equipment, alarm statistics, topological display, add/delete/edit network node information, message informed and so on.

Optical Power Monitoring Function£ºsystem can monitor the real-time optical power of work fiber and backup fiber.
automatic switching function£ºWhen optical power of the work light path decrease to more tan(loss then )the switching threshold, the system automatically switch to backup fiber.
manual switching function£ºSystem and network management software both can switch to the main route or backup route compulsory, conveniently for communication line debugging.
auto switching back function£ºwhen the optical power of the main/backup route is higher than switching threshold and work mode is in backup route, the system can automatically switch to the main route after successfully setting the auto switching delay(the default is 100 s).1+1 and 1:1 protection mode have this function.
Temperature alarm: when temperature alarm occurs, the equipment buzzer screaming and alarm prompt display and provide the ban sound function.
optical alarm£ºwhen optical alarm occurs£¬the equipment provides prompt by LCD display or LED indicator light color changes£»the network management software can also provide prompt by colors change.
power alarm£ºwhen power alarm occurs, the equipment provides prompt by LCD display or LED indicator light color changes£»the network management software can also provide prompt by colors change.
manual mode switching to auto mode function: when the equipment is in manual mode and has no button operation, the equipment can automatically switch to auto mode after successfully setting the auto switching delay(the default is 100 s).
parameters setting, inquiry and display: the equipment can set the parameters of work mode¡¢switching threshold¡¢work wave and system information and display real-time optical power.
monitor function£ºequipment has RJ45 Ethernet port¡¢RS-232 serials interface .
